Naked man busted after claiming bomb ‘about to go off’ at airport

“Stop resisting! Stop resisting!”

A naked man wreaked havoc at a Florida airport Friday when he claimed a bomb was going to detonate, authorities said.

The 25-year-old man, identified as John Greenwood, had entered an under-construction restroom at Daytona Beach International Airport and slipped a bag into a hole he made in the sheetrock just after 10 a.m., police said.

Greenwood was in the buff when he came out of the bathroom and climbed onto the baggage carousel, claiming that “a bomb was about to go off,” the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office said in a tweet.

Released police body-camera footage shows the moments cops initially encountered a naked Greenwood who was Tasered after he didn’t comply with officers’ commands.

“Get on your belly! Get on your belly…turn around and get on your belly or you’re getting Tased,” one officer can be heard shouting at Greenwood as he sits naked on the ground with his head in his hands wearing only dress shoes and socks, the footage shows.

“Put your hands behind your back or you’re getting Tased,” the officer says as he moves in on Greenwood.

When Greenwood doesn’t comply, the officer deploys his Taser to the sound of screams from Greenwood.

“Stop resisting! Stop resisting!” the deputy shouts.

The footage released by cops later shows Greenwood down on the ground saying: “I just want to get out of here, bro. I’m naked. I’ll go to jail. I’ll go wherever the hell you want me to go. Just get me out of here, please.”

The airport was evacuated as authorities, including bomb and K-9 units, responded to the terminal. No explosives were found.

Greenwood was arrested and hit with a slew of charges, including: burglary, false report concerning planting a bomb explosive device or weapon of mass destruction, criminal mischief, and resisting arrest without violence, police said.
