Man charged after ‘huffing’ in front of police

A man was arrested after he “huffed” a can of air duster in front of Carlisle police.  Terry E. Darr, 61, was charged Thursday with illegal use of a solvent or noxious substance, police said.

Police were called to McDonald’s in the 600 block of East High Street at 3:50 p.m. Thursday for a reported cardiac arrest. Police said they found Darr conscious and semi-alert with a can of air duster, which he huffed in front of them.

Darr was taken to Cumberland County prison and held on a probation detainer.
