CHINESE MAN DRIVES DAUGHTER TO COLLEGE IN SEATTLE

A Chinese man took an epic road trip to drive his daughter to college.  Huang Haitao promised his daughter Huang Xinyi that he’d drive her to school if she got accepted by a college in the U.S. The trip took the pair 108 days to reach Seattle University from their home in Nanjing, China. Their first stop was Russia, before making their way to England, where they took a flight to Chicago. They collected their car and set out along Route 66 across the country to Los Angeles, before driving north to Seattle. The college offered the family a welcoming party, but Haitao declined, saying he was glad to able to spend time with his daughter.
