Woman, 78, dies in crash near Lake Minatare

A 78-year-old woman from rural Lake Minatare, Nebraska, died after her car veered off Lake Minatare Road shortly before 5 p.m. Tuesday.

Witnesses say Jean L. Roebuck had been driving slowly when her car went across the center of the road and overturned in the ditch.

Roebuck, who wasn’t wearing a seat belt, died of injuries in the crash, Scotts Bluff County Sheriff Mark Overman said.
