Two killed in early morning accident on JFK Freeway Two dead in morning Sarpy County crash

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – A three vehicle crash on the John F. Kennedy Freeway killed two and seriously injured two others early Friday morning, shutting down traffic for hours.

The crash happened shortly after 3 a.m.

In addition to the dead and injured, authorities said one person remained unaccounted for.

Southbound lanes of the highway were shut down at Q Street.

The accident scene was near Chandler Road.

Right now, JFK Highway is closed in the southbound lanes at Q Street. Southbound JFK travelers are being diverted to Q Street.

From Q head west to 36th and then south to Cornhusker and you can get back on the SB JFK at Cornhusker.

You can also use 24th to RR Ave to Fort Crook then Cornhusker.
