Services set for Saturday for Creston, Iowa, family of 4 who died in Mexico

Funeral arrangements have been scheduled for an Iowa couple and their two children who died at a Mexican resort.

Visitation is set for 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday at the Powers Funeral Home in Creston for Kevin Sharp, 41, and his wife, Amy Sharp, 38, and their children, Sterling, 12, and Adrianna, 7.

A Mexican prosecutor says a gas leak in a water heater is suspected of killing them inside their rented condominium in Tulum. Their bodies were found Friday.

Amy and Kevin Sharp took classes at Southwestern Community College.

Burial will be private at Graceland Cemetery, south of Creston.

Online condolences can be given at www.powersfh.com.

People attending the service are asked to dress in comfortable, everyday clothes, including Iowa, Iowa State or other college, sports and racing apparel.
