Jack Eichorst pleads not guilty to child porn charge

LINCOLN — The son of former University of Nebraska-Lincoln Athletic Director Shawn Eichorst has pleaded not guilty to a felony charge that he distributed child pornography.

Jack Eichorst, 18, entered the plea Monday in a letter submitted to the Lancaster County District Court.

The younger Eichorst, who has been described by his family as “a vulnerable and trusting boy with autism,” is accused of sharing photographs on his cell phone of children in sexual positions and sexual acts in October.

No trial date has been set in the case.
