47 guns, along with meth and marijuana, found in Nebraska home

Two men were arrested as authorities confiscated drugs and 47 guns during a raid Tuesday in the Nebraska Panhandle town of Mitchell.

According to Cody Thomas of the Nebraska State Patrol, the men, ages 40 and 66, were arrested on suspicion of possessing methamphetamine and marijuana with intent to deliver, possessing a weapon during the commission of a felony and failing to get a drug tax stamp.

Thomas said authorities found a pound of meth and a pound of marijuana in the house.

The investigation was conducted by the Western Nebraska Intelligence and Narcotics Group and the Scotts Bluff County Sheriff’s Office.
