Charles H. Lineweber, 88, of Beatrice, died Monday, May 7, 2018 at Kingman Regional Medical Center in Kingman, AZ. He was born on April 2, 1930 at Beatrice and attended Holmesville High School. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1951 – 1971. He married Imojean Falcon on February 28, 1957 at Shreveport, LA. After his discharge, he worked at Store Kraft Manufacturing, retiring in 1993. He attended Christ Community Church of Beatrice. He was a former member of Eagles Aerie #531, VFW Post #1077 and Carpenters Union. He enjoyed gardening, canning, cooking, fishing, traveling and visiting with friends.
Survivors include his wife, Imojean Lineweber of Beatrice; three sons, Jerry Lineweber of Beatrice, Donald Lineweber and husband Ernie Markowitz of Kingman, AZ, and Jack Lineweber and wife Stacy of Beatrice; one daughter, Patti Jacobson and husband J. of Beatrice; daughter-in-law, Doreta Lineweber of Rapid City, SD; seven grandchildren, Debbie Milligan, Amanda Lineweber, Marcus Lineweber, Brienne Grossman and husband Tracy, Kyle Lineweber and wife Michelle, Katelyn Lineweber, Lucas Lineweber; four great-grandchildren, Elizabeth and Rachelle Milligan and Riley and Dreyson Lineweber; Alicia Todd and Tiffany Almond; three brothers, Ray Lineweber and wife Margreta of Lincoln, Wayne Lineweber and Kenneth Lineweber both of Beatrice; six sisters, Ruth Hagemeier of Clay Center, Leona Clark of Grand Island, Genevieve Eckhoff, Ann Schoneweis, Rosemary Wohlers, and Joyce VanWinkle all of Beatrice; brother-in-law, Glenn Booten of Firth; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles C. and Bertha Ruter Lineweber; his son, Ronald W. Lineweber; two brothers, Robert Lineweber and wife Shirley, and Richard Lineweber and wife Elsie; two sisters, Dorothy Mulder and husband William, and Alice Booten; three brothers-in-law, Lynn Hagemeier, Edward Clark and Edwin Eckhoff.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at 10:30 A.M. at Christ Community Church with Pastor Jack Magness officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Home Cemetery of Beatrice. A family prayer service will be held at 10:15 A.M. on Thursday at the church. A memorial has been established to the family’s choice. Military graveside honors will be conducted by the United States Air Force Honor Guard and Bitting-Norman Post #27 of the American Legion of Beatrice. The body will lie in state at the Fox Funeral Home from 8:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. Wednesday and at the church one hour preceding the services on Thursday.
