Andrew Bryan Beach, 23 years of age, of Wilber, formerly of Beatrice passed away unexpectedly at his home Thursday morning, March 16, 2017. He was born on December 1, 1993 in Beatrice to Pat Beach and Kris Vicars. Drew was a 2012 graduate of Beatrice High School, and worked for his father in the family construction business. As a child, Drew was involved in youth Soccer and the Beatrice Wrestling Club. He had a passion for automobiles, loved car drifting, and helped on the Dustin Reeh racing team. Drew enjoyed life, was always happy, and would give anything for those close to him.
Survivors include his son Carsen Dayley Beach of Holdrege, NE; father Pat Beach and wife Jenn of Beatrice; mother Kris Woodyard and friend Tom McCabe of Beatrice; brother Trent Beach and wife Jennifer of Lincoln; sisters Amya Beach and Jacey Woodyard, both of Beatrice; grandparents Erna Beach of Beatrice, Karen Kramer and husband Randy of Crab Orchard, and Dennis and Diane Vicars of Pickrell, and Dave and Connie Clapper of Beatrice; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Don Beach.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at the Westside Baptist Church in Beatrice with Jon Palmquist officiating. Interment will be at the Evergreen Home Cemetery. The body will lie in state from 10-8:00 PM Monday at the Griffiths-Hovendick Chapel in Beatrice with the family greeting friends from 6-7:30 PM, and at the church one hour preceding the service on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to start The Carsen Beach College Fund with the funeral home in charge.
