Alice L. Hadley age 82 of Wymore passed away on April 23, 2019 at the Beatrice Good Samaritan Society. She was born in Beatrice on November 15, 1936 to Jesse M. and LaRue F. (Pisar) Hadley. Alice was a 1955 graduate of Wymore High School. On June 10, 1955 she was united in marriage to Dale A. Hadley. Alice worked alongside her husband on the farm and was a caretaker for several family members. She was a member of P.E.O., the Square Dance Club, and the Wymore United Methodist Church where she taught Bible School and Sunday School. Alice enjoyed gardening and sewing.
Left to mourn her passing are her daughter, Mary Jane Spence and husband Rob of Steinauer; son Tim Hadley and wife Donna of Reno, Nevada; grandchildren, Brandon Spence and wife Kerry, and Will Hadley; sister, Bonnie Schwenke and husband Gene of Green Bay, Wisconsin; brother, Robert Brown of Lincoln; brothers-in-law, LaVerne Hadley and wife Shirley, and Wayne Hadley and wife Donna; sister-in-law, Loraine Ranney and husband Elwin; special friends, Dale and Vera Crumb; several nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale; parents, Jesse and LaRue; siblings, Richard Brown, Sally Windle, Ramon “Bus” Brown, Mary Lou Gerdes, and their spouses; and father and mother-in-law, Sam and Pauline Hadley.
