SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico – After largely escaping the wrath of Hurricane Irma earlier this month, Puerto Rico was not as fortunate today as Hurricane Maria made landfall this morning.

The Category 4 hurricane made landfall just after 6 a.m. EDT in the southeast part of the U.S. territory, causing widespread flooding and packing winds of 140 mph. Watch here for more details on Maria’s impact.
