WILBER – Mike Pulliam threw for three touchdowns on 7-9 passing with 176 yards and the Class C2 No. 10 Wilber-Clatonia football team flew past Johnson-County Central, 41-14, Friday in Wilber.
Mason Zimmerman caught all three touchdown passes and finished with 151 yards receiving.
The Wolverines defense forced Thunderbirds quarterback Eli Waring to throw three interceptions.
All of the Wolverines points came in the first half.
Johnson County Central running back Josh Bailey ran for 206 yards and two touchdowns, both in the fourth quarter, in the losing effort.
Wilber-Clatonia is now 5-1 and hosts Syracuse (1-5) on Friday, while the Thunderbirds drop to 3-3 and will be at Freeman (4-2).
