SCC Lady Storm Fall To McCook CC in 5 Set Marathon

Home matches are few and far between for the SCC Lady Storm Volleyball team with just 3 more remaining on their regular season schedule. The Lady Storm played host to the Lady Indians of McCook Community College Tuesday evening. SCC took advantage of the home floor early, winning the first two sets. McCook took the momentum later in the evening behind first-year head coach Hayley Kobza. After dropping the first two sets, the Lady Indians warmed up, taking sets three and four, forcing a fifth and deciding set. McCook CC was too much for SCC, taking the fifth set and the match.

McCook CC improves to 7 and 3 on the year with the win. SCC falls to 4 and 5 with the loss.

The Lady Storm are back in action on Wednesday (9-6) as they travel to Columbus to play Central Community College.
