Pioneer Conference Foes Showcased on Thursday Night NCN 21 Matchup

LEWISTON – Falls City Sacred Heart travels to Lewiston on Thursday night as both teams are trying to turn their years around late in the volleyball season.

The Lady Irish enter at 11-8, but have split their last 12 matches after a 5-2 start. Earlier in the season, they beat the Lady Tigers, 2-1, on September 10th at the HTRS Invite.

Sacred Heart Coach Susan Witt says Lewiston has plenty of experience and her girls will have to play sharp.

“We have a lot of good athletes, but whenever we struggle it just seems like we tend to have a lot of hitting errors. Our passing has been pretty strong, so we just need to cut down on our hitting errors and making sure we are ready for every ball.”

The Lady Tigers have lost their last two matches following the MUDECAS Tournament. They placed third in the B Division there in Beatrice.

NCN 21 is scheduled to go live at 7 p.m.
