Ryan Obrecht, Millard North: Had three hits and scored the winning run against Papillion-La Vista.

Joe Roecker, Elkhorn: Belted a grand slam and got the pitching win against Bellevue West.

Tommy Steier, Omaha Creighton Prep: Had the game-winning RBI in the Metro Conference tournament final against Millard West.

Jackson Cummins, Omaha Concordia: Threw a no-hitter against Douglas County West in his first career start.

Max McGuire, Lincoln Southwest: Smashed two home runs in a win over Elkhorn Mount Michael.

Brock Burling, Millard West: Pitched a complete-game shutout over Bellevue East.

Bobby Jackson, Omaha Burke: Had four RBIs in a win over Omaha North.

Kyle Perry, Millard South: Picked up his sixth win against Papillion-La Vista.

Jesus Rivas, Omaha South: Tossed a one-hitter and struck out 14 in a win over Columbus.

Mark Lewis, Omaha Northwest: Threw 4 2/3 strong innings to pick up the pitching win against Omaha Westside.

Dakota Smith, Papillion-La Vista South: Tossed a five-hit shutout against Bellevue East.


Kaitlynn Johnson, Millard West: Set the 800 record at the Jo Dusatko Omaha Central Invitational by running a state-leading 2:18.20, bettering the 2:20.41 by Laura Spanheimer of Omaha Marian in 1998.

Karsen Sears, Grand Island Northwest: At the Central City Invitational, she won the 100, 200 and long jump and ran on the 400 relay for her fourth gold.

Lauren Meyer, Syracuse: Set school records in the long jump (17-4½) and triple jump (36-½) at the Rockets’ Scott Nisely Invitational. Her triple jump topped the meet record of Tierra Williams from Auburn.


Jake Reckin, Bellevue West: Won his school’s invitational at Willow Lakes with a 2-under 70.

Luke Kluver and Kellen Rossman, Norfolk: They led the Panthers to the Hastings Invitational title at Lochland, posting a 298 score. Kluver was medalist with a 5-under 67 and Rossman posted a 1-under 71.
