The matchups for Friday’s Midwest Regional semifinals at the CenturyLink Center are set: Top-seeded Kansas will face No. 5 Clemson at 6 p.m., and No. 2 Duke will face No. 11 Syracuse at 8:30 p.m. Both will be televised by CBS.

The Orange upset third-seeded Michigan State in a dramatic finish Sunday, while Clemson didn’t require nearly the theatrics in a victory over No. 4 Auburn.

Syracuse held Michigan State to 17-of-66 shooting from the field, including 8 of 37 from long range, en route to a 55-53 win. The Orange reached the Sweet 16 after starting the tournament in the play-in game.

Clemson used a 17-0 run to build a 43-19 first-half lead and didn’t let up, pummeling Auburn 84-53.

Top-seeded Kansas defeated No. 8 Seton Hall, and second-seeded Duke held off No. 7 Rhode Island on Saturday to clinch their spots in the Sweet 16.
