LINCOLN – The Fairbury American Legion Seniors jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the top of the first inning, before Lincoln-Bennington rallied for 9-3 win on Sunday.
Devin Wanamaker had a two-RBI single and scored a run, while Adam Wasserman had an RBI double for the Fairbury Seniors, who fell to 4-10.
The Fairbury Juniors lost their first game of the season last week to Seward, 13-5, and are 8-1 on the season.
Cole Siems drove in four runs and scored twice to lead the Tri-County Juniors to a 17-2 victory over Fort Calhoun and earn a split of a double-header at home on Sunday.
Gaven Weichel had two hits and a pair of runs scored, while Danny Hess had two RBI and scored twice. Krayten Uher scored three runs and had an RBI for Tri-County, who improved to 4-6 on the season.
Noah Leutzinger pitched all four innings, allowing two runs on five hits, while striking out five to earn the win.
Sutton slipped past the Wilber Seniors, 4-3, on Sunday in Sutton.
Grant Boyson finished with two hits and a pair of RBI for the Wilber Seniors, who fell to 8-6 on the season.
