Fairbury Remains Undefeated and Roll to Shutout Victory

FAIRBURY – That first playoff victory is starting to seem more and more like a possibility for the Fairbury Jeffs.

After only a 12-0 lead at the halftime break, Fairbury dominated the third quarter, outscoring Lincoln Christian, 29-0. The Jeffs would roll to a 54-0 victory.

Fairbury again got strong performances out of their senior class. Adam Wasserman finished with 313 total yards and three touchdowns, while Jacob Johnson ran for 142 yards and three scores. Cayman DeBoer caught six passes for 167 yards and two touchdowns, as well.

Seniors Trent Grizzle and Dawson DeBoer also ran in touchdowns on the night.

With the win, the #5 Jeffs are now 5-0 on the season. They will play Ashland-Greenwood at home next week. Their final four opponents have a combined record of 5-15.

Lincoln Christian drops to 2-3 overall and will host Raymond Central in week six.
