Crete Rallies Past Beatrice With Four Runs In The Sixth Inning

CRETE – Ethan Mach doubled home Blake Feeken in the bottom of the 6th inning in what turned out to be the game-winning run to help Crete rally past Beatrice, 5-4, last night at Tuxedo Park in Crete.

The Cardinals, who trailed 3-1 entering the 6th inning, scored three runs on three Beatrice errors in the inning.

Ethan Mach, Blake Feeken and Nick Barber each had two hits for Crete, who improved to 6-1 on the season.

Peyton Murphy had two hits and scored twice to lead the Orangemen offense.  Caleb Wallman and Kole Jurgens both had RBI hits for Beatrice, who fell to 1-5.
