BEATRICE – It was a very successful season for both the Beatrice Orangemen and Lady O, and the results show in the All River Cities Conference Teams.
On the boys side, both Tilden Bardsley and Cameron Jurgens received All Conference Honors.
Bardsley finished the year as the team’s leading scorer with 18.5 points per game. Jurgens got a late start to his season due to a football injury, but still averaged 12.7 points per game, while shooting almost 60% from the floor.
Both Dalton Hartig and Brandel Riekenberg were Honorable Mention Selections.
For the Lady O, Michaela Jones continued her high school career with another big season. During her Junior year, she averaged 18.8 points per game and 11.5 rebounds a night. Jones broke the school record for most points in a career and rebounds in a season.
She received an All Conference Selection.
Kirsten Baete, Carley Leners and Addie Barnard all earned Honorable Mention status.
