BEATRICE – A west Beatrice apartment where a suspect was arrested for possession of Clonazolam recently, was the scene of a controlled drug purchase, Friday….after a police canine had indicated drugs within a postal package to be delivered to the apartment.
Police Lieutenant Jay Murphy says the investigation focused on an apartment in the five-hundred block of West Mary Street.

A woman at the apartment was arrested for alleged possession of the drugs, after taking delivery of them during the investigation. 19-year-old Mariah Larimore was arrested for alleged possession of a controlled substance and possession with intent to deliver.
During Friday’s investigation, police also arrested 59-year-old Warren Rhoden, for alleged possession with intent to distribute THC and tampering with physical evidence.
Last week, police arrested Austin Meyn for possession of a controlled substance and possession, with intent to deliver. Meyn had been released from jail last July 31st and placed on 36 months-probation August 1st, in a Gage County District Court drug case.
Police and probation officials during a search recovered five 30-milliliter bottles of Clonazolam.
