BEATRICE – Communications provider Windstream has announced it is upgrading its network to deliver Gigabit internet service in Beatrice.
The $4 million upgrade includes building fiber optic connections to about 6,800 households in Beatrice. The Little Rock, Arkansas-based Windstream is finalizing the engineering design work and expects construction will be starting soon.
