Locally heavy downpours through Tuesday night could lead to three to six inches of rain in southeast Nebraska, southwest Iowa and northwest Missouri.
There’s an 80-100 percent chance of rain beginning Sunday afternoon and running through the early part of the work week. According to the National Weather Service office in Omaha/Valley, heavy rain will possibly lead to localized flooding.
Flooding does continue on the Missouri River from Nebraska City to Rulo. The NWS says additional rises in water levels appear likely in the middle of next week.
