West Point Man Wanted By Platte, Colfax, and Adams Counties Arrested in Columbus

COLUMBUS – A West Point man, that Columbus Police recently asked for the publics help in identifying, has been arrested and is wanted in three different counties.

Columbus Police released a picture on October 25th of a suspect in a shoplifting case that was later identified to be 30-year-old Sergion Marino-Marino. Court documents say Marino is wanted in Platte County for unauthorized use of a financial transaction device, Colfax County for failure to appear in a second degree forgery case, and Adams County for failure to appear in a controlled substance case.

Marino was arrested and taken to the Platte County Detention Center, after police received a tip that he was at a store off 23rd Street in east Columbus on Monday at around 3:16 p.m.
