UPDATE: Water Restored in Adams After Water Main Break

BEATRICE – Water service has been restored in the town of Adams, following a break in a major water main.

Rodger Pella of the Adams Village Board said the break happened at around 5:50 a.m., at 7th and Main Streets.  Pella says the likely cause is the old age of the water main.

Pella says the eight-inch water main is a primary connection to the town’s water tower.  The town’s utility department worked with a company that’s has been doing water main improvement work to restore the water for the village in northeast Gage County.
