COLUMBUS – Two vehicles were totaled and an ambulance was dispatched after a collision at an unmarked intersection.
Columbus Police Captain Todd Thalken says a 55-year-old man was driving a 2003 Chevy pick-up southbound on 39th Avenue, when he entered the unmarked intersection at 12th Street. Thalken says according to a report, after the pick-up had entered the intersection it was hit on the side by a eastbound 2002 Ford Windstar being driven by a 27-year-old woman.
The accident occurred at approximately 7:55 a.m. Wednesday morning and both vehicles are estimated to be total losses. An ambulance was dispatched after the female driver complained of chest pain, but she was not transported to the hospital.
