Two Lincoln Residents Suspected of Illegal Drug Distribution, in Beatrice

BEATRICE – A Lincoln man and woman have been arrested for allegedly dealing illegal drugs, in Beatrice.

23-year-old Nicholas Allen and 21-year-old Teresa Tremmel were jailed after their arrests on warrants.   Both appeared in Gage County Court, Friday.  Judge Steve Timm set Allen’s bond set at $10,000….Tremmel’s bond, at $7,500.

Allen is charged with distribution of cocaine, two counts of distributing marijuana and failure to have a required drug tax stamp.  Tremmel faces two charges of aiding and abetting distribution of cocaine, and two counts of aiding and abetting the sale of marijuana.

Investigators conducted undercover investigations using confidential informants to make purchases of illegal drugs.   The purchases were made at a Beatrice car wash between last May 11th and June 6th.

According to court records, about $1,300 exchanged hands during the arranged purchases, involving over 50 grams of marijuana and nearly 10.4 grams of cocaine.

Both Allen and Tremmel face further proceedings in Gage County Court, December 8th.
