Two BHS Seniors Nominated for “Believers” Award

BEATRICE – Two Beatrice High School students were nominated for the Nebraska School Activities Association “Believers and Achievers” award.  The two students who excel in athletics, activities, academics and community service are seniors Joscelyn Zimmerman and Tia Buhr.  BPS Activities Director Neal Randel says the two are among a group of Nebraska High School students nominated by their schools, for the award.

Tia Buhr, this year’s homecoming queen at BHS, has now been selected as one of the finalists for the Believers and Achievers Award.  She is among a group of 48 Nebraska High School seniors nominated as finalists.

The winners of the final awards are recognized during state high school basketball tournament time.
