Nebraska State Patrol troopers issued 486 citations over three days as part of a six-state crackdown on speeding.
The effort focusing on speeding motorists occurred Friday through Sunday on Nebraska roadways, the patrol said.
Troopers also issued 50 citations and warnings for not wearing a seat belt and made 18 DUI arrests, the patrol said.
The other states also participating in the Regional Speed Enforcement Campaign were Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, Arkansas and Oklahoma.
