HEBRON, NE –  Four-time state wrestling qualifier and two-time state placer Keegan Casey signed his letter of intent to wrestle for Nebraska Wesleyan  on Friday afternoon.

A three-sport athlete who also competes in cross country and track, Casey finished his wrestling career at Thayer Central as the school’s all-time winningest wrestler with 139 career victories.

Casey placed 4th at 126 pounds in this year’s state wrestling tournament after finishing second in 2018. Casey finished his senior season with a record of 33-8.

Thayer Central had an overall stellar season on the mat, with seven Titans qualifying for state and three of those seven placing. Thayer Central finished 10th in the Class D team standings at state back in February.
