State Employees Honored at BSDC
Nebraska Lieutenant Governor, Mike Foley Speaks at Carstens Center Reception

BEATRICE – Over one-hundred state employees were recognized Wednesday at the Beatrice State Developmental Center.  The Nebraska Department of Administrative Services 2018 Recognition events are being held this week and next, in seven cities.  Lieutenant Governor Mike Foley helped hand out the awards to employees of various state departments, who have been on the job from ten, to forty years.

The employees honored at the BSDC Carstens Center Gymnasium have given a total of 2,245 years of service over their careers with agencies such as Nebraska Corrections, HHS and the Nebraska Department of Transportation.  Lieutenant Governor Foley says the employees are dedicated to what they do.

State employee recognition events are being held in Beatrice, North Platte, Scottsbluff, Grand Island, Lincoln, Omaha and Norfolk.
