Snow Falling in Northeast Nebraska

NEWMAN GROVE – Who knows about a white Christmas, but northeast Nebraska may end up with a white Halloween.

Show began falling in northeast Nebraska Tuesday afternoon around 2 p.m. A picture posted to the Bank of Newman Grove’s Twitter page at 2:15 showed large snowflakes falling outside the bank’s location on Hale Avenue.

The National Weather Service says only trace amounts of snow are expected to fall could fall in parts of northeast Nebraska as a system works its way through northeast Nebraska, with very little accumulation.
