Sex Offender Violation Puts Madison Man Behind Bars

STANTON – A Northeast Nebraska man is in jail for not registering as a sex offender at his new address.

Stanton County Sheriff Mike Unger says 25-year old Roman Jennings of Madison was arrested Saturday in Norfolk.

Sheriff Unger says a warrant was issued for Jennings’ arrest after an investigation revealed that he had been living at a residence in Woodland Park without registering the address.

Jennings was convicted of felony sexual assault of a minor in Madison County in 2015. He was released from prison in June of 2016.

Jennings is currently out on bond pending his first appearance in Stanton County Court in April.
