COLUMBUS – Several city parks and buildings around town were tagged with graffiti over the weekend.
Columbus Police Reports show officers were called to Bradshaw Park, Memorial Stadium, a business on the 2100 block of 33rd Avenue, and Centennial Park for graffiti. All four reports came on Saturday.
City Councilman Troy Hiemer commented at Monday nights city council meeting that he hopes the public will activily report any suspicious activity, in an effort to cut down on graffiti incidents around the city. Hiemer also commended the city departments for their quick response in dealing with the issue.
