Search Warrant Yields 6 Drug Arrests

COLUMBUS – Several local law enforcement agencies executed a search warrant that resulted in 6 arrests on drug charges.

The Columbus Police Department released a statement on Wednesday that says they worked with the Platte County, Colfax County, and Butler County Sheriff’s Offices, as well as Nebraska State Patrol, to execute a search warrant on Tuesday.

The search warrant was for 1059 24th Avenue, and it was executed at 9 a.m.

Six people were jailed, and charges for the six included distribution of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, as well as arrests for active warrants.

The search warrant was a part of a SNARE Drug Task Force investigation, says the release.

Court records say among those arrested were 43-year-old Jason Bender, 37-year-old Lee Hicks, 33-year-old Brittney Rohlfs, 33-year-old Joshua Ertzner, and 25-year-old Terri Rohloff.
