Rebuilding Life, After Prison

BEATRICE – A man who his attorney says is turning his life around, has been sentenced to a term of probation for a sex offender registry violation.

Edward Cloran failed to update his vehicle registration, though he has properly registered his address as required by the state’s sex offender law.

Defense Attorney Gregory Kratz told Judge Daniel Bryan Jr. in Gage County District Court Thursday that after Cloran’s release from prison in 2008, he’s set an example for how someone can change.

Judge Bryan ordered a term of two-years on probation and payment of court costs.
