BEATRICE – A judge has sentenced a 26-year-old woman to Nebraska prison for weapon and drug charges, along with a lengthy term of post-release supervision.
Morgan Kriz was sentenced in Gage County District Court, Thursday, to one year in prison for being a felon in possession of a deadly weapon, and consecutive nine-month prison terms for possession of cocaine and possession of methamphetamine. She’s also facing charges in Lancaster County.
Judge Julie Smith ordered two years of post-release supervision on the weapon conviction, and nine-months supervision after serving time on each of the drug violations.

Kriz was fined $300 for a drug infraction and ordered to pay court costs, of over $255. Smith said probation could not be granted, in the case.

Kriz previously was sentenced to a probation term, but did not complete it, successfully. She has served two prior prison terms. The judge noted Kriz also has two separate criminal cases pending in Lancaster County, where she is charged with five felony counts.
