Online Marketing Strategies Offered To Entrepreneurs In Superior

SUPERIOR – Small business owners are invited to learn about online marketing tools in an interactive setting during “Online Marketing Strategies,” a free workshop organized by the Center for Rural Affairs’ Rural Enterprise Assistance Project  Women’s Business Center in collaboration with Superior Chamber of Commerce.

This session will be held Saturday, April 21, from 1 to 4 p.m., at Superior Public Library, 449 N. Kansas St., Superior, Nebraska.

The workshop will focus on building online relationships using websites, email marketing, and social media, including Facebook and Twitter.

“Many small business owners get caught up trying to use social media, but then forget the basic necessity of having a broader online presence,” said Monica Braun, REAP Women’s Business Center director. “Eighty-one percent of shoppers conduct online searches before buying. This session will help potential clients see only the best of your business in those searches.”

Diane Siefkes, owner of dkSolutions, and an online marketing consultant from Lincoln, Nebraska, will present the course. Siefkes specializes in demystifying social media and email marketing for small business owners.
