One Injured in 6th Street Collision

COLUMBUS –  CPD reports say a two vehicle collision on 6th Street left one person injured on Thursday.

CPD reports say a 2008 Pontiac Sedan was being driven by a 58-year-old woman southbound on 21st Avenue, when it was struck by a 1995 Pontiac Sedan eastbound on 6th Street. The 1995 Pontiac collided with the front passenger side of the 2008 Pontiac.

CPD reports say the force of the contact forced the cars to spin and strike each other again, with both vehicles coming to rest on opposite curbs of 21st Avenue.

The driver of the 1995 Pontiac was reportedly injured in the accident, but the extent of her injuries are unknown. The ’95 Pontiac was reportedly totaled, and the ’08 Pontiac suffered an estimated $3,200 in damage, according to reports.

The accident took place at approximately 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
