Northeast Nebraska to Host Mobile Children’s Museum

CROFTON – Nebraska’s First Lady is organizing an attraction that will be making its way through northeast Nebraska this summer.

First Lady Suzanne Shore was in Crofton Tuesday to formally announce the “Truckin’ through, Nebraska; A Mobile Children’s Museum” exhibit. The museum will be making its way through a number of Nebraska cities, including Crofton during its Q125 celebration June 30th and July 1st.

Crofton City Administrator Charlie Hendrix says Tuesday’s event included a presentation of flowers to the First Lady on behalf of the Crofton City Council. The flowers were presented by four-year old Meredith Wortmann.

The mobile museum will be also making stops in Madison, Neligh, Plainview, Wayne, West Point, O’Neill, Ainsworth and Valentine at various times this summer.
