Norfolk Man Indicted on Wire Fraud Charges

OMAHA – A Norfolk man is accused of stealing over a half-million dollars from people who wanted him to construct buildings for them.

A seven-count indictment was revealed by the U.S. Attorney’s office in Omaha this week for 46-year old Bradley Leffers.

Federal officials say Leffers operated a business named Rocklin Steel Buildings, which would enter agreements with victims to construct steel buildings on their property.

Leffers would accept down payments to buy materials, but investigators say he would instead deposit the money for his own personal use. He’s accused of victimizing 14 people and taking over $508,000.

He faces up to 140 years in prison if convicted.
