Norfolk Man Found Guilty in Two-Year Old Robbery Case

MADISON – The final of four men accused in a December 2014 robbery in Norfolk will be sentenced this spring.

Thirty-one year old Pierre Evans pleaded no contest to robbery and terroristic threat charges in Madison County District Court Tuesday morning.

An arrest warrant was issued for Evans in December of 2014, after police say he and three others robbed a house on Madison Avenue in Norfolk at gunpoint.

The other three involved in the robbery were arrested and have all been sentenced, but Evans evaded law enforcement for over two years. Court documents show that he was taken into custody on December 23rd.

Evans faces up to a total of 52 years in prison when he’s sentenced on May 17th.
