Norfolk Man Cited After Stanton County Crash

STANTON – Two people were hospitalized and a driver cited after a near head-on crash in Stanton County.

Stanton County Sheriff Mike Unger says it happened around 4:30 a.m. Friday on Highway 35 between Woodland Park and Hoskins.

Sheriff Unger says 26-year old Adrian Campos of Norfolk was driving south when his vehicle crossed the center line. Unger says the car collided with a northbound pickup driven by 24-year old Steven Christiansen of Norfolk.

Both were taken to Faith Regional Health Services in Norfolk with unspecified injuries.

Campos was cited for driving while intoxicated and driving left of center.

The accident closed down Highway 35 for about an hour.
