STANTON – A Norfolk man is in jail after a Monday morning accident in Northeast Nebraska.

Sheriff Mike Unger says 21-year old Zachary Mansfield was arrested Monday morning. Sheriff Unger says Mansfield was involved in an accident on Highway 24 about two miles east of Norfolk.

Unger says Mansfield was eastbound in his vehicle when he struck a car waiting to turn east from behind. Everyone involved declined medical transport at the scene.

Sheriff Unger says Mansfield was arrested for driving with a suspended license. The driver of the other vehicle – 30-year old Marcos Ramos-Reynoso of Pierce – was cited for no driver’s license and no registration.
