SYRACUSE – NioCorp Superalloy Materials has scheduled a town hall meeting for its Elk Creek project feasibility study beginning at 6 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 8, at the Kimmel Ag Expo Center in Syracuse.
Advanced registration for the project update and buffet dinner is required.
NioCorp executives will present details of the three-year study.
A live webcast of the town hall meeting is also planned.
NioCorp earlier announced that Gov. Pete Ricketts has nominated the Elk Creek project to the White House as a “high priority national infrastructure project.”
Ricketts said the super alloy project can help the U.S. produce American-made “super steels” for infrastructure projects across all 50 states.
