BEATRICE – Gage Area Growth Enterprise is continuing an agreement with a company that provides drone video, but NGage officials will also try to get cost-sharing help on the agreement.
The local economic development organization partnered with Digital Sky to provide drone video of events as well as still pictures emphasizing the local area.
NGage Executive Director Walker Zulkoski says the agreement costs about $9,000.
:18 “really appreciate it”
Officials want to continue the agreement, partly because of events coming up like Homestead Days, where the drone video helps tell the story of quality of life in the Beatrice area.
Erin Chadwick of NGage says the still pictures taken by the company are helping out more than just NGage.
:09 “been valuable”
Zulkoski says requests have been made to three organizations to help provide financial support for the service. The agreement is a part of the local economic development budget. NGage Board member Patrick Ratigan says it’s an inexpensive way to highlight the community.
