Newly Renovated Public Restroom Vandalized in Falls City

FALLS CITY – Restrooms in two separate parks in Falls City have recently been vandalized.
Falls City Mayor Jerry Oliver, reported on Monday in the city council meeting, that restrooms in Stanton Lake park and Grandview Park have both been broken into, and vandalized.
The Stanton Lake restrooms, which were renovated this year, had muddy handprints laced all over the walls of the mens restroom. The vandals broke through a vent on the door to access the restroom. The mess has since been cleaned up, but the door has yet to be fixed.
Vandals attempted to break the door at Grandview Park in an attempt to get into the
restroom at night.
Oliver said that the evidence shows that it’s likely that at least two people were involved in the vandalism at Stanton Lake.
