National Guard to locate helicopter rescue team in Columbus

COLUMBUS — The Nebraska National Guard is moving a helicopter rescue team to Columbus to be responsive to any requests for water rescues. Columbus Mayor Jim Bulkley tells News Channel Nebraska that they chopper will be landing near Pawnee Plunge water park and will work in concert with Columbus Fire and Rescue and area departments.
