Missoula Children’s Theatre Coming To Fairbury

FAIRBURY –  Fairbury Elementary students will get a chance to be on stage when the Missoula Children’s Theatre makes a stop at their school.

Auditions will be held for the production of “Treasure Island” this coming  Monday (April 23) at the ‘47 gym from 4:00 to 6:00. Those auditioning should arrive at 4:00 and plan to stay for the full two hours. Some of the cast members will be asked to stay for a rehearsal immediately following the auditions from 6:15-8:15.

Approximately 60 roles are available for local students, and all students, grades K-6, are encouraged to audition.  No advance preparation is necessary, and most students will rehearse around four hours each day depending on their part.

The performances are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 28th in the Burkley Fine Arts Center at the High School.
